Introduction

ENIM is established as a network encompassing the following structures:

  • Chair and Vice-Chair;
  • Plenary;
  • Working Groups;
  • Secretariat.

ENIM Chair and Vice-Chair

ENIM is headed by a Chair and Vice-Chair, elected for a period of two years.
ENIM's Chair conveys and chairs the plenary meetings, draws up the agendas with the assistance of the Secretariat and represents ENIM internally and externally, together with the Vice-Chair.
The Chair and Vice-Chair shall act in close coordination and may rotate their roles as Chair and Vice-Chair annually, unless the plenary decides otherwise.

Plenary

The plenary is the decision-making body of ENIM. It is composed of all ENIM members and meets at regular intervals, at least twice a year.

The Commission and European Coordinators are invited to the plenary meetings. Representatives of Member States, the European Railway Platform (ERP) and the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) are also invited where relevant. The Secretariat provided by the Network Coordinator assists the Chair in the preparation and follow-up of plenary meetings.

Secretariat

The ENIM Secretariat is provided by the Network Coordinator and supports the functioning of all ENIM bodies by assisting the Chair, the plenary and the working groups in carrying out their tasks.
