The European Network of Infrastructure Managers (ENIM) strengthens cross-border cooperation through developing common frameworks, and promoting harmonised approaches to capacity and traffic management, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.

Key activities include:

• Developing common European frameworks and procedures for rail capacity management, for cross-border traffic, disruption, and crisis management, and for the monitoring, benchmarking, and reporting of infrastructure performance.
• Promoting best practices and supporting the implementation of the Single European Railway Area, also by consulting and coordinating with the relevant stakeholders on European rail infrastructure matters.
• Addressing cross-border bottlenecks and facilitating multinational rail operations.
• Engaging and cooperating with the European Commission, ERA, European Coordinators, ENRRB, Advisory Performance Panel and other institutional stakeholders on issues related to European rail infrastructure management and network operations.

Through the support of the Network Coordinator and the coordination structures, ENIM helps ensure that Europe's railway infrastructure is managed in a consistent, transparent, and efficient way for the benefit of the rail sector and its users.
